OUR HISTORY
Four Paws @ Four Points has been open since
February, 2001. Partners Dr. Lisa Fernandez and Dr. Martha Kleypas
worked to transform a beautiful office building into a veterinary
hospital, and added a free-standing boarding kennel.
Our hospital renovation and kennel design were based on our
desire to create a warm, client- and pet-friendly environment,
keeping in mind the goal of making your pet feel at home. The
exam rooms are like your living room, with couches and carpet;
we feel that this environment helps make our patients (and their
"parents") less nervous, making what is often stressful
times of illness more comfortable and relaxing.
The kennel runs have air-conditioning and heating inside, and
doors so your pet can go outside any time during the day, or
chill out inside, just as they would at home. We make sure to
keep bedding in with boarding pets to make sure they feel more
at home. These little things are what make such a big difference
when your pet has to be away from you. The buildings are situated
on 3.3 acres of beautiful Hill Country property.
We strive to offer the finest medical and surgical services,
client education, and boarding comfort and fun. Drs. Fernandez
and Kleypas have a cumulative 45 years of experince working
in veterinary hospitals, including both having been practitioners
in a feline-only hospital in Austin.
